Most new IT businesses, in their endeavor to deliver quick results, have in the process completely ignored the fundamentals and critical role played by the basic concepts of science, mathematics and computing to create path-breaking ideas. This is seriously detrimental to such organization in the long term and has cost implications on the business solutions being built by them.

At the innovation center, Uniken's team members focus on some of the basic representation paradigms such as graph theory and discrete mathematical structures, and find their applications in solving various problems. Further, performance engineering and the complexity analysis is a core initiative that results in the members of innovation team giving their feedback to the solutions teams on a continuous basis for the solutions they build.

Symbolic representations and their associated metric space based topological implications is an area of research for the group, and we firmly believe that the corresponding measurement systems derived from such a representation would play a key role in the science of information representation and retrieval – a key aspect of most of the information technology problems currently being addressed by the business world
