UNIKEN works closely with academic institutes on various research problems as part of the Research Fellowship Program. Final year students of Computer Science and Electronics (both Bachelors and Masters), from reputed institutes across India, are chosen for this Program after they go through a rigorous selection process. We do not believe that academic performance should be the only criterion for selection, and hence we also look for the innovative and creative index, honesty and integrity as the main principles for selection.
Our Research Fellowship is a 12-month program that is integrated with the final year project of the students. The research topics and the problems are either selected by the students or are suggested by the researchers at the UNIKEN Innovation Center.
Intellectual Property (if any) is jointly owned by the students involved and UNIKEN. We encourage students to publish their work in reputed journals, and present their projects in conferences and scientific exhibitions.
The students are paid a monthly research stipend to ensure that their time is respected, valued and at the same time, their professional commitment is honored.
